Licensing AVG 2011 Products
AVG products are sold in defined configurations.
AVG Anti-Virus, AVG Internet Security, AVG PC Tuneup.
One license per computer is required and these AVG products can be purchased in
packs of 1,2,3,5 and 10 licenses. Licenses can be purchased for 1 or 2 years.
AVG Anti-Virus Business and AVG Internet Security Business Editions
The number of licenses is based on the total number of workstations and file
servers combined. Licenses can be purchased for 1 or 2 years.
Licensing for AVG Business Editions is required for:
- all file servers on the network.
- all workstations on the network (including those workstations which are not
running AVG but are connected to a file server which is using AVG).
- all workstations which are not on the network or connected to the file server,
but that require AVG protection.
License packages of AVG Anti-Virus Business Edition are
available in the following configurations: up to 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30,
40, 50, 60, 70, 75, 80, 90 and 100. Above 100 configurations are available in
bundles of 10 (for example 110, 120, etc.), above 200 in bundles of 25 (for
example 225, 250, 275, etc.).
License packages of AVG Internet Security Business Edition are
available in the following configurations: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60,
70, 75, 80, 90 and 100. If your client has 2 servers and 5 workstations (7
computers in total) you will need to buy a larger package of 10 computers. Above
100 configurations are available in bundles of 10 (for example 110, 120, etc.),
above 200 in bundles of 25 (for example 225, 250, 275, etc.).
AVG File Server
The number of licenses is determined by the total number of
connections to the server. Licenses can
be purchased for 1 or 2 years.
License packages are available in the following configurations: up to 2, 5, 10,
15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 75, 80, 90 and 100. Above 100 configurations are
available in bundles of 10 (for example 110, 120, etc.), above 200 in bundles of
25 (for example 225, 250, 275, etc.).
AVG Email Server
The number of licenses is based upon the total number of mailboxes or e-mail accounts. Licenses
can be purchased for 1 or 2 years.
License packages are available in the following configurations: up to 5, 10, 15,
20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 75, 80, 90 and 100. Above 100 configurations are
available in bundles of 10 (for example 110, 120, etc.), above 200 in bundles of
25 (for example 225, 250, 275, etc.).
AVG Server Edition for Linux/FreeBSD
The number of licenses is determined by the number of
CAL (Client Access Licenses). CAL = Each
client connected to the server to access files or e-mails. Licenses can be
purchased for 1 year only.
CAL packs of 10, 25, 50, 75 licenses are available. Larger configurations
available on a per server basis,
configurations of 1, 2, 3, 5 servers are available.
